The RESET Program for Schools

Science-backed, educator-designed for  whole-school well-being.

At Wildflower, we believe that when educators are equipped to regulate and recharge themselves,  students thrive and the entire school community benefits - it starts with the teacher.

Educator well-being is foundational to a thriving school. Research shows that when teachers are emotionally supported and stress-resilient, students flourish — academically, emotionally, and socially.

The RESET Program is a holistic, brain-based well-being initiative designed to support schools in reducing stress, improving emotional regulation, and nurturing a healthier, more connected learning environment—for both staff and students.

RESET is a weekly, term-based program designed to equip educators with the tools to regulate their own nervous system, reduce stress, and build lasting emotional resilience — all within their school day.

RESET is facilitated by Laura, founder of Wildflower, with over 20 years of experience in education, yoga and therapeutic support. Laura has trained 500+ educators globally and has worked extensively in Hong Kong schools, understanding both the cultural nuances and real challenges of today’s classrooms.

Developed by a teacher for teachers, this evidence-based program is designed to strengthen educator well-being and reduce stress. Through weekly sessions focused on guided breathing, movement for tension release and stress-reducing relaxation techniques, educators learn practical tools for emotional and nervous system regulation.

These skills support classroom co-regulation, enhance whole-school performance, improve student outcomes, and build parent trust.

This is more than a weekly relaxation class — it’s a daily toolkit that teachers can use in real-time

Educators will learn how to:

  • Regulate their breathing before entering a difficult conversation or situation

  • Use simple grounding techniques during transitions or high-stress moments

  • Recover from emotional dysregulation during the workday

  • Reduce stress and protect against burnout using micro-practices rooted in neuroscience

  • Co-regulate with students — supporting emotional safety and classroom calm

  • Cultivate a deeper sense of satisfaction, presence and purpose in their role as educators

These tools are discreet, science-based and designed to be used during the school day, not just after hours.

Why RESET?

  • Created by an Educator

With over 25 years’ experience in early years education and well-being, and 10 years in Hong Kong's education system, this program is designed by someone who understands the pressures of teaching — not just a yoga instructor, but a teacher and trainer who’s lived it.

  • Aligned with EDB MentalHealth@School

RESET supports the EDB’s MentalHealth@School initiative by offering proactive, preventative strategies for mental health support, burnout prevention and emotional regulation — all within a teacher’s working week.

  • Daily Impact, Not Just a Weekly Class

This isn’t just one hour of relaxation. It’s a practical, science-backed well-being framework that teachers can use daily: before meetings, between lessons and after high-stress situations.

  • Enhances School Culture and Student Outcomes

Teachers who feel well-regulated and supported bring their best selves into the classroom. That means calmer classrooms, improved behaviour management and better learning outcomes — all of which build trust and satisfaction among parents.

“Teacher stress is one of the top causes of burnout and staff turnover.”
Over 60% of teachers report that work is ‘always’ or ‘often’ stressful, making stress-reduction not a luxury — but an essential.
— American Federation of Teachers, Educator Quality of Work Life Survey

This is not a “nice-to-have.” It’s a requirement for modern schools. Teacher well-being is directly linked to student learning outcomes, teacher retention, and school success. Support your staff now — or risk burnout, attrition, and declining morale.
